RESTART-A-HEART DAY
This is a European wide initiative where in October of each year volunteers go into local Comprehensive Schools and teach pupil Basic Life Support skills, including CPR.

Last October (2018) Porthcawl Community First Responders were involved once again in the 'Restart-a-Heart' day at Porthcawl Comprehensive School. We were part of a training team that consisted of:-
- Nurse
- Police Officer
- Ambulance Service Paramedic
- Doctor
- 6th Form Student
As a result of 'Restart-a-Heart day 2018:-
- over 150 Porthcawl Comprehensive School students were trained in Basic Life Support and CPR.
- Over 238,793pupils were trained across the U.K.
